Chesterfield, Missouri is a city located in St. Louis County. It is considered a western suburb of St. Louis. Formed in 1988, Chesterfield has a population of about 50,000 and is the fourteenth-largest city in Missouri. Located just 30 minutes outside of downtown St. Louis, Chesterfield is conveniently located to many area attractions. Chesterfield is known as the "City of Volunteers", due to its citizens history of being involved in the community and has many places to shop, eat, and play.
One of the most well known attractions in Chesterfield is Faust Park. In the heart of Chesterfield, the park property of about 200 acres includes the home that once belonged to Frederick Bates, the second governor of Missouri. The park also includes Historic Village, which contains 16 building structures that show the architectural styles of the period between 1840-1908. Other park attractions are the Butterfly House, the St. Louis Carousel, scenic walking trails, and a large playground.

Chesterfield is known as the top destination in the St. Louis metropolitan area for shopping and dining. Other wonderful places to explore and sights to see are the St. Louis Zoo, St. Louis Union Station, Magic House, Forest Park, Anheuser-Busch Brewery, Grant's Farm, City Museum, St. Louis Science Center, Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis, Six Flags, Citygarden, Ballpark Village, and Botanical Gardens. For the sports fans, take in a St. Louis Cardinals or St. Louis Blues game.

The city of Chesterfield is fortunate to be part of two exceptional and top-rated public school districts: Parkway School District and Rockwood School District. There are also many great private and parochial schools in Chesterfield: Academy of St. Louis, Ascension Catholic School, Barat Academy High School, Barat Prep Middle School, Chesterfield Day School, Chesterfield Montessori School, Incarnate Word Catholic School, and The Goddard School.
Parkway School District
The Parkway School District is a standout school district that received the "Distinction in Performance" rating since 2011 on its Annual Performance Review and has an "Accredited with Distinction" rating from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Over 19,000 students attend the school district that consists of four high schools, five middle schools, and eighteen elementary schools. Parkway has an average ACT of 23.5 and graduation rate of 91.1%.
Rockwood School District
The Rockwood School District is a standout school district that received a distinguished "Gold Medal" rating from Expansion Management Magazine and also holds a "Distinction of Performance with High Achievement" from the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. Over 22,000 students attend the school district that consists of four high schools, six middle schools, and nineteen elementary schools. Rockwood has an average ACT of just under 24 and graduation rate of almost 95%.
Parkway Central High School
Parkway Central High School is one of the two public high schools in Chesterfield, Missouri. The middle school that feeds Parkway Central High School is Parkway Central Middle School. The elementary schools that feed Parkway Central Middle School are ALL of Green Trails Elementary, River Bend Elementary, and Shenandoah Valley Elementary. Also, about 80% of the students at Highcroft Ridge Elementary and 20% of the students at Mason Ridge Elementary will attend Parkway Central Middle School.
Marquette High School
Marquette High School is one of the two public high schools in Chesterfield, Missouri. However, Marquette High School is in the Rockbridge School District. Crestview Middle School is the middle school for students in Chesterfield who attend Kehrs Mill Elementary and Wildhorse Elementary. Rockwood Valley Middle School is the middle school for students in Chesterfield who attend Chesterfield Elementary.
